Scavenger Hunt Rules & Guidelines
Scavenger Hunts will occur at selected ReptileExpo® shows. See below for the explanation, rules, and regulations. Good Luck, and may the odds be ever in your favour. Participants must download a copy of our free app!
1. Overview:The Scavenger Hunt Participants must collect CODES from selected vendors and enter the code into the official scavenger hunt app. The first participant to complete all FIVE codes will be declared the winner. There are FIVE Scavenger Hunts are beginning each hour from 10:00-2:00
2. EligibilityOpen to all participants who have paid admission to the ReptileExpo®. Vendors, employees of vendors, and event organizers are not eligible to win.
3. How to PlayVisit Participating Vendors – Clues will be provided in the app. Example (only an example, not a real clue) "Where dragons dwell, and lizards play.You’ll find cool creatures on display.With tails that twitch and eyes that stare.This little town has dragons to spare!" Using the app's search function, you might be able to solve this clue. The answer is Dragontown! You then go to Dragontown's table and ask for the code. The vendor will tell you the code to enter, such as FLAMES, and then, if the code is correct, the next clue will appear. The unique code must be entered into ALL CAPS's official scavenger hunt app. Winner Determination – The first participant to correctly submit all required codes within the designated time period will be declared the winner. Ticket collectors will receive a small prize.
4. Time Periods & WinningThe scavenger hunt will begin on the hour at:10:00 11:0012:00pm 1:00 2:00pm Only one winner per time period will be selected.
5. Prize CollectionThe participant who has collected all FOUR CODES, may pick up their Bag of ReptileExpo® Swag at the back Registration table in White PlainsPrizes must be collected in person and will consist of a ReptileExpo® SwagBag (filled with goodies) and a choice of either a ReptileExpo® MUG or ReptileExpo® T-Shirt (Large & XL sizes only)
6. Fair Play & Disqualification Participants must follow all event rules and vendor requirements.Any cheating, including sharing codes or using multiple accounts, will result in disqualification.Organizers reserve the right to verify submissions and deny or revoke a win if fraudulent activity is suspected.
7. Liability & TermsOrganizers are not responsible for technical issues preventing entry submissions.Participants assume all risks associated with participation.By entering, participants agree to abide by these rules and any additional terms set by event organizers.
